Well there is no denying that Facebook is on a roll right now! Releasing their new Facebook Timeline pages today ahead of schedule. If you are the admin of your page, you now have the opportunity to play around and get use to the new designed pages from today until the end of this month in preview mode. Come 31 March 2012 all pages will automatically be switched over to the new Timeline design.

For customers working with our custom applications, you can still use your 520px tabs in the new Timeline format. However this month we recommend you start redesigning to take advantage of the new 810px format. And why wouldn't you? The new Timeline design is more visually appealing and an ideal platform to showcase your business or brand.

The naysayers I meet, who rant about facebook being a waste of time, a fad and of no real value, usually do not have a facebook account.

Fear that their personal information will be exposed; customers will leave negative comments; or they will encounter a psychotic stalking stranger are just some of the reasons that sadly keep them on the sideline. Observers rather than participants, they have to rely on second hand information that does not necessarily come from knowledgeable or open minded sources.
