"Who's on first, What's on second and I don't know is on third" is a classic Abbott and Costello skit. It reminds me of a term I coined awhile back to describe a nonexistent website publishing team. I call it the "phantom web team syndrome". This is a team or person, that everyone thinks is responsible for managing their business website, but in reality doesn't exist.

To be fair in most cases the website teams probably were real at some stage, (usually around the launch of the website) but over a period of time, people have been transferred to other departments, accepted new roles, gone on annual leave or left the company.

Digital marketing (also known as online marketing or internet marketing) encompasses many forms of digital media such as websites, blogs, emails, banner ads, social media, pay-per-click advertising and mobile phones.

Its primary objectives are to help draw customers in; build relationships; promote brands, products and services through a variety of digital online channels. Some of these channels require a long term commitment to digital marketing with no fixed 'expiry' date. 

If you're currently using '123456' or 'abc123' as one of your computer account passwords, do yourself a favour and change it today. Go for unique and different, rather than easy to remember and common.

These days more and more businesses are looking for images to use on their websites and in their marketing campaigns.  Some businesses source images from photolibraries to suit their particular products and services. While others are keen to stand apart and showcase their unique products and services using a professional photographer.

Our ambitious plan to update our home page themes monthly has been thwarted by a very busy work schedule. For this reason we've decided to showcase bi-monthly themes. The new April / May theme, celebrates "life in motion" featuring an Alaskan Brown Bear, an Alaskan sled dog race, a skateboarder and skiier. All images are courtesy of Chris McLennan, our guest photographer for this month (also featured in our December "One World" theme).  These images remind us that we are constantly experiencing life in motion every moment of the day, as active participants and keen observers of the world around us.
